Alphonse was a fantastic host and also a great new friend I met in Ghana. Besides, his place being very clean and comfortable, with fantastic air conditioning, which is essential in Ghana! He was a gentlemen, from the very start he made me feel like family by showing me around and also offering to meet his other friends. He help with things to do and places to see. He was also great communicator with quick responses. I highly recommend staying with him.

The apartment is a gem. Perfect for solo travellers or couples who want to explore Osu & all it has to offer. Easy to walk to the Oxford St area and beyond. The neighbourhood is great and friendly, with everything you could need on the doorstep. It’s exactly as described. Alphonse is an amazing host, super happy to chat & help with anything. Make sure to take his recommendations & don’t hold back asking him literally anything! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Place is in a very 'local' area which is noisy and suffers from 'local' problems namely no power or water for a significant portion of the day as there is no generator and water tank at the property. This meant we had to bucket shower every night. When the power is on, the WiFi is good and the aircon and fan are effective and you can sleep well. On the other hand the local atmosphere is really cool with restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep. During the course of our stay animal droppings built up around the apartment, and by the end of our 4 nights there was a pretty big pile of poo in the corner of the room... we mentioned this to Alphonse when we were leaving and he sort of shrugged it off. The kitchen is poorly equipped as advertised, it's almost a waste of space. There's no mosquito net and there were mosquitos flying around. Left over rubbish from previous guests in the apartment. Overall fine stay but we felt the price was quite high for what was offered.

Alphonse was a great host! He was always super reacheable and very super helpful. He was very flexible about check-in and the stay! He also knows many great spots in town. 🤗 The flat was really nicely located within Osu and perfect if you look for something non-touristic.

Couldn’t have stayed in a better place. The location is great, close to Oxford street, to the Osu Castle and to many cool bars. The room was impeccably clean and organised. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the ac was very powerful. But the best thing about the place is Alphonse! He is the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. He was very helpful with my bags when I arrived and kept checking up on me to see if everything was ok. And most of all he is such a good person! Friendly and great to chat to! It was such a pleasure to meet him! Than you so much, Alphonse!
