Flagstaff is a city in the U.S. state of Arizona, surrounded by mountains, desert and ponderosa pine forests. It’s a gateway to the San Francisco Peaks, home to Arizona’s tallest mountain (Humphreys Peak) and the Arizona Snowbowl ski resort. Nearby, Wupatki National Monument has Native American pueblo sites, and Walnut Canyon National Monument is dotted with their cliff dwellings.
Flagstaff attractions include some of the most iconic places in the American Southwest. Flagstaff is the gateway city to Grand Canyon National Park, but that's just the beginning of what is to experience here. There are seasonal waterfalls such as Grand Falls, Sycamore Canyon Falls and many others that appear in the spring and after monsoon rains. From lava tube caves, meteor craters, and dinosaur footprints to ancient Indian ruins, Flagstaff and the immediate surrounding areas are full of incredible things. There are a few very worthwhile attractions in Flagstaff itself, but as an outdoor mecca, you'll find that there's an infinite number of incredible things to see just a short drive out of town depending on what your interests are.
Flagstaff is the highest point on the entirety of Route 66. It’s also the place where Pluto was discovered, and astronauts trained before first visiting the moon.
Our home is located in the Presidio in Pines neighborhood. The community offers a family friendly environment, is safe, clean and close to NAU, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

The closest bus stop is 0.8 miles. You would need a car to move around the neighborhood. We are minutes close to historic route 66, I-17, I-40 and SR-89A freeways.
