The brand-new kitchen comes equipped with a washer/dryer, fridge-freezer, electric oven and hobs, dishwasher, microwave and a full range of cooking utensils. If you’re looking for the perfect base from which to explore Newbury, you’ve come to the right place.

This was our second stay in Garden Court, Newbury with StarHost Residences but the first time we have stayed in this particular apartment. Its on the ground floor so it’s very easily accessible and we felt really safe and secure. The location is central within Newbury town centre but is on a quiet side street, the apartments have plenty of parking and are close to a large park. The Garden Court apartments are bright, modern and spacious, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. StarHost Residences have a wonderful team who offer a really personal touch, meeting us on check in and communication is always faultless during our stay. We are so glad we found StarHost Residences and next time we are in the area we will be booking Garden Court again.

Visit the charming market town of Newbury and you can be sure to have a wonderful time – especially when taking a guided tour around nearby Highclere Castle, where the binge-worthy period drama was filmed. Newbury Racecourse is also a surefire hit, whether you want to have a flutter on the horses or trot over to its events venue for some live music or a theatre production.
If your horse comes in, hit the plethora of retail outlets (independent stores, high-street shops, specialist markets, local Camp Hopson department store, which opened in 1921) and restaurants (pavement cafés, cosy restaurants, country pubs, Michelin-starred bistro Henry & Joe’s) with your winnings.
Save some energy to explore the lush surrounding countryside, as well as the many walking and cycling trails, including the towpath along the Kennet and Avon Canal, which passes straight through the heart of the town centre. Enjoying your time in Newbury: a sure thing.
Newbury provides direct rail links to Reading in under 30 minutes and to both London Paddington and Bristol in under an hour as well as road access to Reading, Oxford, Southampton and Swindon – all in around 30-45 minutes.
