Great stay. Quintessentially British home, very clean and tidy. Modern with rustic feel (cute animals on site!) Great for kids. We had a couple hiccups and Jacquie sorted everything as soon as we mentioned. Would definitely stay here again.
Parfait ! Nous reviendrons !
This was a very last minute booking for us and Jacquie could not have been more accommodating. Friendly and approachable from the first contact, Jacquie ensured everything was in place for us to have a wonderful time. Instructions for finding the secluded cottage and information about the local area were extremely helpful and the cottage itself is absolutely beautiful - so well thought out in lay out and in detail. Equipped with everything we could need; super comfortable sofas and beds; lovely open plan downstairs area; great sized dining table; brilliant woodburner; cosy throws and duvets. There was even milk in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival. The location is private and peaceful, the quiet punctuated only by birdsong. We loved seeing the pigs and alpacas and the goat. Jacquie responded quickly to questions in messages and clearly values giving her guests a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much from us all. We very much hope to return.
The place is ideal for families. A really nice renovated barn with a couple of lamas and pigs for the kids to look at. Two nice size bedrooms so a family has enough space and a fire place which we enjoyed. The only minus I would say is the boiler in the bedroom that can be a bit noisy during the night.
