Two en-suite ground-floor bedrooms and spacious areas for socialising make this beautifully renovated farm building a perfect retreat. Your duo of doggie pals will love it here – there’s a private field where they can be exercised as well as some excellent walks from the doorstep. Located within the owners’ grounds in peaceful Great Langton, this former stable has been cleverly converted to offer home-from-home comfort across two floors. Step inside and a spacious hallway, where you can leave outside gear and dog blankets, leads into a contemporary kitchen complete with all the essentials for an effortless stay. There’s plenty of natural light to illuminate your meal prep, and elbow room for everyone at the dining suite. After dinner, relocate to the first floor where the lounge has warm carpeting, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. As bedtime approaches, head back downstairs, settle the dogs, and then retire to two bedrooms, both of which have a double bed and en-suite shower room. An additional WC in the hallway adds further convenience. A small, decked veranda to one side of the property adds outdoor living space and comes complete with a BBQ – accessed from the kitchen, it’s the ideal spot for al fresco dining or morning drinks. When the dogs need to stretch their legs, there’s a private enclosed field for zoomies. Close to the River Swale, Great Langton is just 6 miles from Northallerton, a thriving market town mid-way between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors where stunning scenery brings the bow-wow-factor to every waggy-tailed walk. For a gentler stroll, the cobbled streets of Bedale are 7.5 miles away – shop for delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th-century church or take in Yorkshire’s finest scenery from the Wensleydale Railway. Alternatively, Richmond (10 miles) is dominated by its Norman castle and has an iconic market square surrounded by Georgian buildings.
