Zahra is hands down the best host we've ever had. She was in touch with us from start to finish, always giving us suggestions and advice on things we can do and how to get around, she provided a lot of information and helpful tips. Whatever you want to do let her know and she'll give you great advice. We wish we could take her with us for how helpful she was. The property was beyond amazing so floral and beautiful, also very close to Playa Negra which was very nice. We definitely want to come back here again. Zahra made our trip so easy and fun, it definitely wouldn't have been the same without her. If you're debating on this place don't just book it you won't regret it.

Our stay at the Lazy Parrot Luxury Apartments was far beyond our expectations. We booked this trip as a part of our Costa Rican honeymoon and we are so glad we did. Zahra was phenomenal, from her amazing homemade breakfasts each morning to her immediate and friendly responses, she and her husband truly made our stay unforgettable. We would give 10 stars if we could! Their proximity to the beach is incredible, Zahra’s restaurant recommendations were on point (all amazing), and the comfort of the apartment itself allowed us to truly relax on vacation. We felt incredibly safe and secure on the property, with a gate and enclosed fencing all around us. They accommodated every request we had and welcomed feedback to make sure they are doing everything they can for their guests. The pool area is calm and cleansing for a relaxing day in and the garden surrounding you is most beautiful. It is evident their hearts and souls went into this project and we are so grateful to have experienced it.

We loved Zahra's place. It was wonderfully located right next to Playa Negra in a quieter part of Puerto Viejo. The Airbnb itself was just beautiful as well as the gardens on location. We loved being able to walk just a couple of minutes outside the back gate to the beach. Breakfast was also wonderful. It is a lovely walk to Puerto Viejo on the beach. The sushi/asian restaurant, Bar Koi Dorado, is just down the road if you don't want to walk or drive into town. It was our favorite place we ate while in Puerto Viejo. Zahra was a lovely and friendly host.

Zahra was an amazing host! If you’re having any doubts, don’t. She was super responsive and friendly. The space looks just like the pictures and is cleaned to high standards. There is a beautiful private walkway to the beach which I particularly enjoyed. Her garden is absolutely beautiful and she brings the most delicious breakfast to your door in the mornings! She’s an amazing welcome and guide to your stay in puerto viejo! 10/10 recommendation. Pura vida!

We had a wonderful stay at Zahra’s place! She is a perfect host: kind, responsive, helpful, and a wonderful cook! The grounds are stunning, it’s like staying at your own jungle oasis. The breakfast was varied every morning and delicious. There are a couple of restaurants and a grocery store in short walking distance. We would 100% stay here again if we visit in the future :)
