Centrally located in the southern zone of Rio de Janeiro, the beach of Vidigal can be reached on foot in 10 minutes and the beaches of Leblon and Ipanema are only 20 minutes away. There is a garden and a swimming pool with outside shower, and all with a panoramic sea view. Visits from toucans, hummingbirds and monkeys are common in this unique space.

Our stay at André's place was probably the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The place is even better than the pictures and his dogs are sweethearts.

Vidigal is one of the most touristic favelas in Rio. In addition to the famous Trilha do Morro Dois Irmãos, the neighborhood has inns, bars, restaurants, shops and a range of cultural options, such as theater, capoeira and alot of live brasilian music. It is relatively small and picturesque, with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and a very central and privileged location between the upscale neighborhoods of Leblon and São Conrado.
Vidigal is statistically the safest neighborhood in the South Zone, there are no thefts and robberies here, you can walk around in a free and safe manner at any time of the day or night. Being a very touristy place, you often see people from all over the world walking up and down the alleys.
