Michel's place in Uzes is entered after a climb of three floors but the reward is an apartment in a historic building that is both comfortable and very stylish, with a wonderful view from every room. Greeted by Monica was an encouraging start, as she is not only delightfully engaging but knowledgeable and very helpful. The location is ideal being a 2 minute walk from the town centre. Turn left from the front door, it is a one minute walk to a lunch cafe that provides both an excellent sandwiches and an entertaining host. Turn right and right again and a 2 minute walk finds a choice of four good brasserie/restaurants. Local produce makes cooking in the apartment an attractive option. Our six days in Uzes was a delight.

Michel's flat is a brilliant example of what you come to Uzès to see. It is perfectly situated within an easy walk to the Place aux Herbs, including shops, restaurants and their Wed/Sun Farmer's Markets. The architecture and views from every window are stunning. This flat has all the conveniences, including a good sized kitchen, dining area, and washing machine. Instructions were few & straightforward, and the property manager was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The basics (cleanliness, security, noise level) were 5 stars all the way. Would recommend for anyone who wants a local Uzès experience.

It’s been almost 6 years since we were last in Uzès. We are really glad to be back. A range of work and family commitments conspired to keep us away from a favourite French town. Having stayed in the apartment previously we knew what to expect. Very comfortable accomodation with parking. Located in the heart of the old town, a few steps away from Place aux Herbes where the fantastic Saturday markets are held it didn’t take us long to settle into the first of our 10 days here. Much to do and see in the area and coming back here at the end of the day is extremely satisfying. Uzès is not too big to get lost in but big enough to have what you need including its fantastic French charisma and historic charm. A place where you can do everything or nothing and still soak up the French ambiance. Monica who looks after the apartment for Michel is charming and helpful. A very comfortable and spacious flat with all amenities. Wonderful accomodation in a beautiful town in the south of France. It’s a great base to explore this part of the country. What’s not to like?

A wonderful apartment right in the heart of historical Uzes. Fully equipped, safe and comfortable, and just a few steps to the market, shops and cafes. Monica who met us on arrival was very helpful and welcoming. We had a great time in Uzes.
