The apartment is in a beautiful building, very large and spacious with huge windows and high ceilings, sparsely furnished but well equipped. The location is also in a pretty neighborhood, with lots of playgrounds, aquarium and sea bath near by (closed when we visited, sadly). The downsides I would mention that I did not read in other reviews are the location for our group without a car (a family with three young children) was a little tricky; there's only 2 buses an hour into town, and although it's only 20 minutes walk, it is uphill on the way back. (Nordnes is elevated above sea level). The rest of Bergen is easily navigable by public transport. We also found the apartment quite cold - we came in late April and stayed 3 nights - we lit the fire but the bedrooms don't have any heating at all (no radiator) and the rooms are so big that the small storage heaters in the other rooms don't do too much. Still overall we had a really nice time here and would stay again!

We were a couple with a 2.5 year old child staying 3 nights. It was one of the nicest AirBnbs we ever stayed in. The apartment is beautiful luxurious and spacious. The two fireplaces work like a charm as do the amenities. It is comfortable to suit a family. Location is nice and quiet about 15 min walk to the centre. Couple of nice cafes near by. Host was proactive and attentive. He has also taken feedback from previous reviews onboard. The only amenity that would be helpful is microwave (for small children to heat milk but this was clear in description) and maybe a bit more firewood but we were able to purchase locally. 5 star would not hesitate to come back.

Beautiful Airbnb, our host was excellent and super responsive to all of our questions! The house is absolutely stunning and centrally located to all of our needs. Would definitely stay again!

Getting around is conveniently done on foot, as all city attractions are within walking distance. If you're planning to venture outside the city, we recommend taking the bus or city light rail from the city center stops. If you prefer to travel by car, parking is mostly available near Bergen Aquarium or through street parking in the surrounding streets. The daily rate is 330 NOK, and the hourly rate is 22 NOK. Payment can be made through the "Parking in Bergen" app. For longer parking and the possibility of electric vehicle charging, we recommend using the "Klostergarasjen" parking facility. Want to get around quickly and enjoy an amazing sightseeing experience of the city? Rent one of the electric scooters, which you will find all across the city.
