I had an excellent stay with Mil. He is such a kind, genuine person and really cares. His place was well kept with ample fridge space and even cabinet space in the bathroom. Well located as well. Highly recommend to stay here.

Great apartment, location and host! I stayed at Mil's apartment for a little over two months for a research stay in New York and enjoyed my time there a lot. The guest room and apartment are small, but very clean, tidy and decorated brightly and colorfully . The kitchen has everything you'll need for cooking if you want to. There can sometimes be noise from other apartments or the staircase, and the apartment doesn't get a lot of sunlight, but none of this was a real problem. The apartment's location is quite convenient; you can reach most of lower Manhattan on foot (and walk across the Brooklyn bridge to Brooklyn), and the subway stations Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall/Chambers Street, East Broadway and Grand Street are nearby to get anywhere else. Different options for grocery shopping are within walking distance, such as the LES Trader Joe's and Target or various smaller stores in Chinatown, and there's also a laundromat very close by. Lastly, Mil was always very kind, really helpful with anything that came up, and interesting to talk with, while also giving me a lot of privacy and freedom.
