There’s a table and chairs for relaxed holiday meals and a door leading out to the garden. Outside, your pet can roam free in the enclosed space while you admire impressive views of Arundel Cathedral. On sunny days, enjoy a leisurely lunch on the patio furniture as your dog finds a shady spot for a snooze. The two cosy bedrooms are accessed via a staircase from the living room; both are beautifully decorated with lovely ceiling beams and tasteful furniture. Perched on the edge of the South Downs National Park, Arundel gives you excellent access to doggie-pleasing walks over rolling hills and alongside the fast-flowing Arun River. Head north to Amberley (5 miles), a village famous for its thatched cottages, or climb up to Bignor Hill (5 miles) for a more challenging walk that’ll reward you with fantastic views. If the dog’s hounding you for a beach trip, Climping (3 miles) is a great option for letting off some steam.
