The house is located at the beginning of a small peninsula covered with pine wood and olive groves and the first house is at distance of approx.100 m.
A pebble beach is in front of the house. Besides, the whole shore of the peninsula is suitable for swimming and sunbathing, especially for those who prefer solitude and/or have pets, where they will easily find their peace and quiet.
At walking distance through the pine woods (5 min) is situated a sandy beach Matlovac, perfect for children, non swimmers, for the young but also for the elderly. There is a café, a beach bar and a mini restaurant, benches, shower, changing cabins, toilets, sand playground for children, beach volleyball court and trampoline.
Ideal for jogging.
In the shadow of pine woods, in the vicinity of our house, there is a basketball court and/or mini football pitch.

Paradise for bikers and nature lovers!
With more than 100 km of cycling paths (trekking & mountain biking maps are available in our apartment) the Islands of Pašman and Ugljan have been preferred training ground for many cycling pros and amateurs for decades. No other region in Dalmatia offers such amazing mix of different routes, mild climate, stunning nature and scenery, good food and culture, that makes this area worth visiting also in May, June, September and October, while air temperature is not so extremely high as in July and August, and sea temperature is still very pleasant.
Sea temperature higher than 18°C is considered to be favorable for swimming. In Ždrelac that is the case from early June to mid-October, especially at the sandy beach Matlovac, located in a shallow bay.
We recommend a bike or walk tour to Veli Bokolj hill on Pašman Island, with magnificent view of Kornati archipelago, Pašman Channel, Biograd and surroundings.
Human habitation in this region has been continuous since prehistory, which can be seen in ruins of Illyric hill-forts (one of the most breathtaking views of the Zadar Archipelago offers St. Michaels Fortress above Preko on the Ugljan Island), rustic Roman era houses and monasteries (Benedictine of Saints Kuzma and Damjan on Čokovac hill above Tkon and Franciscan monastery of Saint Duje in Kraj).
Pašman and Ugljan Islands are connected by a bridge over the Ždrelac straits – Ždrelašćica. The main road runs across both islands, while very frequent ferryboat lines connect both islands to mainland, Zadar-Preko (on Ugljan Island, 25 min.) and Biograd-Tkon (on Pašman Island, 15 min.), which traffic in July and August until midnight!
Take your time and enjoy visiting Zadar, the city with 3000 years old history and just a perfect blend of ancient and modern that won the prestigious title of Best European Destination 2016 for a holiday or city-break.
We also recommend boat excursion to the National park of Kornati.
The Island of Pašman belongs to the Zadar Archipelago, which counts 24 bigger and about 300 smaller islets and rocks in the Adriatic aquatorium, 3 nature parks - Telašćica, Velebit and Vransko jezero and 5 national parks - Paklenica, The Plitvice Lakes, Kornati Islands, Krka and Sjeverni Velebit classifying Zadar and its surroundings at the very top of the Croatian tourist offer.
Due to its proximity to the mainland, excursions to the National parks Paklenica, Plitivice and Krka are also easy to organise.
