This pretty stone cottage, on a small complex of holiday cottages next to a working farm, is close to Lanhydrock Estate and parkland. It’s perfectly placed for enjoying the coast and countryside and ideal for families with beaches, stunning walks, and fun attractions nearby. It has a hot tub and a BBQ on the private patio, a funky kids’ bunk room and a cosy wood burner. The cottage has retained lots of its original character and features with modern comforts added. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has lovely deep window sills, original stone walls, and everything you need to cook up a feast. After a fun day, throw a log on the wood burner and hang out together in the lounge – and there’s no need to fight over what to watch with a Smart TV in the living room and both bedrooms! Heading upstairs, both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and share the contemporary family bathroom. Outside is a peaceful haven with space to eat al fresco, a BBQ and the ultimate in relaxation, a hot tub. Lanhydrock Estate is less than 1 mile away with lots of walks through 900 acres of parkland. There’s a golf course and restaurant less than 1 mile away and Cardinham Woods is 3 miles away, where you’ll find beautiful woodland walking trails and cycle routes. There are stunning walks on the South West Coast Path, which passes along Par Sands 8 miles away too. Par Sands is next to the village of Par, a vast sandy beach that’s dog friendly all year round. Being so centrally placed, the north Cornish coast is also accessible, with rugged scenery and perfect waves for surfing (16 miles away) and The Eden Project is 8 miles away, home to the world’s largest indoor rainforest.
