Other places may offer a distant peek at the ocean from a single room, but here you will be surrounded by turquoise waters in your living room, your dining room, master bedroom, and on an expansive balcony. You will never feel crowded in this spacious condo, even with a large family or a group of friends, even on a week-long (or longer) trip. It also means that I don't need to use euphemisms like "cozy" to describe any room in this condo. The third-bedroom suite is upstairs and very private, so multiple couples will be comfortable in this condo, as will those traveling with teenagers and young adults. The condo is south-west facing, which creates spectacular sunset views. Our unique location on a bay plus unparalleled ocean proximity makes this possibly the only apartment on the island from which both sunrises and sunsets are visible over the Caribbean Sea (see the uploaded photos). The living room and kitchen get bathed with an indescribable golden, warm glow after sunrise that you will have to experience for yourself. Only 12 units share the pool and lighted tennis court, so the condo amenities are never crowded. Provides a laid-back Caribbean island feel on premises only a 5-7 minute drive from the amenities of seven-mile-beach, while avoiding those crowds. Ladder entry into the ocean directly in front of the apartment for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Divers will recognize the property name "Bonnie's Arch", derived from the famous eponymous underwater arch which is a 5-minute swim from our ladder, and a favorite scuba diving site. ScubaDiving dot com recently featured it as a "spectacular formation unlike what most of us have ever seen in the Caribbean." We literally swim out from our backyard to dive it, rinse off in our outdoor shower after an hour exploring the beautiful reefs, hang up our diving gear to dry downstairs, and then get snacks and coffee in our kitchen and sit on rocking chairs or lie on the hammock on our balcony to take in the views and relax. - 5-minute walk to restaurant and dive shop for shore diving. - 2-minute drive (or 15-18 minute walk) to the picturesque West Bay beach with soft sand and shady trees and cabanas, located at the north end of Seven Mile Beach. - Condo stocked with snorkeling gear, life jackets, beach chairs and umbrellas, pool toys, tennis racquets and balls so that guests can optimize their enjoyment of all the beauty Cayman has to offer, both above and below the water. - Walking distance to Cayman Turtle and Wildlife Center and Dolphin Discovery, the most popular destination for kids on the island. - 5-minute drive to several of the best restaurants on the island, horse-riding on the beach and ocean, Barker's National Park with mangrove forests, and many other attractions. - There is currently some construction activity along seven-mile-beach (SMB), including near us. But our neighborhood is generally quieter than SMB. We prefer the more serene, laid-back, "traditional Cayman" feel of West Bay with less traffic compared to SMB. And the SMB restaurants and amenities are only a 5-7 minute drive away. - Full Kitchen stocked with all cooking and baking needs, spices, Keurig coffee machine and pods, a drip coffee machine, an instant hot water spout and tea bags for guests to enjoy.
