Spacious inside and amazing shared space outdoors. Puri was a very responsive and helpful host. The kitchen was stocked well with pots/pans for cooking. Make sure you bring your food! The grocery in town is the smallest I've ever seen. The location is good, completely walkable into 'town' and the Caminito del Rey (with packs). Nothing can beat the fresh oranges Puri offered us:)! Glad we brought slippers in January (you have to expect a chill from an old stone house). The outdoor space is probably even more enjoyable in warmer weather. We recommend Bar Isabel at the train station. Good food, large servings, and low prices.

The 2-floor flat is great for 2 people. There are 2 large bedrooms, but the shared/public space would be a bit small for 4 people. In particular there's only space for 2 at the kitchen table. Also, there are only two small hobs/elements on the stove which makes cooking for many people a bit difficult. Otherwise the decoration with tons of plants, the views and the location are tremendous. It's possible to reach the encatadas, frontales and escalare arabe climbing areas on foot in ~20-30min, though we mostly took the car for comfort (5-10min). The garganta restaurant has fairly good food and great portions and is reachable in 10min on foot. Puri, as well as her sister and the bf of her sister who live next door were extremely nice, and immediately provided whenever we asked for anything.

We really enjoyed our 3 weeks here. It was hotter than expected, so having the pool available to jump in at the end of the day was great. We were able to walk to all of the crags in El Chorro for our climbing trip (10 minutes to La Garganta hotel). The outdoor eating area by the pool was also lovely in the evenings.

Un accueil chaleureux, une maison et un extérieur très agréables et bien entretenus. Tout était fourni pour le barbecue et la maison est très bien située.
