Come and enjoy the charm of our self catering, self contained house set in the heart of the Misorano Forest, in the beautiful village of Hakuba, Nagano..home to the premier events of the 1998 Winter Olympics. For the Winter Season and the excitement of having the snow at your doorstep, or for the cool refreshing Summer Season, Konayuki Cabin offers stylish accommodation for up to 4 people at a very affordable price. This house also offers you to stay with your pet! Konayui Cabin is a cozy, newly renovated, modern two bedroom self catering, self contained cottage set in the woods of Misorano, close to all the amenities of Echoland. The cottage is great for a family with kids, or a group of friends and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people in the two bedrooms. The entry way opens into a lobby area and then into an open plan living dining area and an open kitchen. The kitchen has modern appliances with an IH stove top, microwave, fridge freezer and all the kitchen utensils you will need. There is a downstairs full bathroom with a bathtub and standing shower space, vanity and a separate toilet. Heading upstairs there are two spacious double bedrooms that can be set as two singles or pushed together to make a queen bed. The heating makes sure you can stay nice and toasty even on the coldest of nights. The cottage is beautifully furnished with plenty of space for everyone to relax. Konayuki Cabin has a flat screen TV with cable TV. The entire house has high speed broadband WiFi, perfect for staying connected with your own laptop or smartphone. In the summer, you can enjoy BBQ on the deck area, and please note that there is only one air conditoner in the center of the house to cool the rooms. Fans are available in the bedrooms.

House fit our needs. It had ample amenities and comfortable beds. The location was close to many ski resorts and restaurants. Would stay again.
We had a great stay and hope to return! Desmond and his crew were extremely responsive to our questions and very helpful in the check-in/check-out process. The location of the home is tucked away in a beautiful part of town, and just a short walk to the main drag of Echoland with bars/restaurants/etc. One of the biggest perks was the bus stop at the end of the driveway that picks up a few times in the morning and takes you to the Hakuba bus terminal where you can transfer to any of the other busses running up and down the valley to the ski resorts. We enjoyed the coziness of the house and how quiet it felt around the area. The beds were comfortable and warm, and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we wish we had was cooking essentials such as oil and spices, but we were able to pick those up at the grocery store that Desmond's team offers complimentary rides to. Overall a great spot! Looking forward to returning!
Nice place close to restaurants. Easy to check in and out. There can be a a little noise from the road during the night/early morning - so earplugs can be good if you’re sensitive to noise

Echoland is a popular hub based in the middle of Hakuba. It’s the perfect place to be for bars, restaurants and nightlife. The bustling high street has plenty of restaurants to experience and enjoy, from traditional Japanese izakaya’s, sushi restaurants and ramen shops, to familiar western style Mexican restaurants, pizza places, and kebab shops.
The nightlife in Echoland is the best in Hakuba, as you will always find people playing pool at The Mocking Bird, enjoying live music and shisha in Gogh, or hitting the dance floor in Holy Smokes.
There is a bus stop for the free ski shuttle right in front of the house and another in walking distance. The bus routes travel through the area, so it’s well connected to Goryu, Hakuba 47, Happo, and Iwatake ski resorts.
We offer complimentary pick up/drop off service from the Hakuba station or the Happo Bus Terminal on your check-in and check-out.
And when our staff and car is available, we are also happy to offer you rides to the supermarkets.
There is free car parking space at this house, so you are also welcome to come by car, or if you need assistance with renting a car, please let us know. We are happy to help you.

はじめまして｡デズモンドです｡ 私は30年に日本に住んでいます! 日本人スタッフと一緒に皆さんの旅のｻﾎﾟｰﾄをさせていただきますので､ご安心ください｡ （ブラックベアプロパティス株式会社で30棟以上の貸別荘の管理をしています。）英語で自己紹介します！よかったら読んでみてください (^-^)/ Hi there, My name is Desmond, I’m British, from North Yorkshire in the UK, owner of Black Bear Properties here in Hakuba, where we have a great selection of accommodation for you to choose from. Following a year in Copenhagen Denmark after graduating university in the UK, I moved to Japan in my mid 20’s and have spent most of my adult life living in Japan. During the years I spent in Tokyo, after discovering Hakuba, I was a visitor almost every weekend during winter season, and a few summer visits too. When looking to move out of the city, there was really no other choice, I made Hakuba my home in 2008, but have been riding the slopes here for over 25 years! Happy to share my local knowledge with all our guests. We offer a complimentary pick up and drop of service from Hakuba train station or bus terminal, or if you are arriving by car or taxi, we will welcome you to your accommodation. At check in we will explain how the house works and of course answer any questions you might have. We also provide a guide book filled with lots of useful local info. Hakuba has so much to offer, of course the amazing winter powder, and a great selection of slopes for all from beginner to expert. If the weather is not its best, there is plenty to do, a great selection of dining options, or for day trips, the snow monkeys, beautiful temples, sake brewery and more.
