Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Shawnee National Forest, our modern cabin is the perfect base for an adventurous getaway or a relaxing retreat. Hike down the hill on a private trail to hike or climb at the Holy Boulders, or take a short drive to local wineries and the must see sights of Inspiration Point, Pomona Natural Bridge, Cedar Lake and Little Grand Canyon. Feel like staying in? You’ll find a hot tub, sauna, and all the comforts you’d expect at home. Our cabin is on a secluded site at the end of a long gravel drive on 17 acres. It is surrounded on 3 sides by public land and sits on top of a hill which is one of the highest points in the county. The interior of the cabin is furnished with a modern, but not cold style. We want it to feel both clean and crisp but also to be an inviting and cozy space to relax in. The outdoor space is one of our favorite parts. In the yard in front of the cabin you'll find a hot tub, sauna, fire pit and overhead string lights to set the mood after the sun sets.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Secluded. Adorable small house with all you need for a wonderful stay. Amazing, helpful hosts. Home has extras in case you’ve forgotten something. Love the outdoor speakers, string lights, hot tub, deck space to relax, comfy bed & furniture. There’s some adorable deer who graze, tons of birds you can hear, and I even saw some hummingbirds. Easy to find with GPS. Grab groceries before you drive out so you don’t have to make multiple trips. It’s really part of Shawnee National Forest and you’re 30 minutes from a store. It’s lovely and quiet.

What an a amzing property. This place is just as nice as the pictures, incredibly quiet and peaceful. The modern cabin is just perfect. Bed and pillows super comfortable. The hosts have really thought of everything. Definitely going to come back. You will not be disappointed staying here.
I can’t say enough great things about this adorable place to stay! My husband and I loved the character of the place and all of the amenities (sauna, hot tub). Everything was so clean…instructions were easy…and Phillip and Kate even left us a card and welcome gift! So kind!!! Will definitely be back!
