We really enjoyed staying here! The view of the ocean was great and it was private and peaceful. Excellent spot to view the sunset! It was a pleasure to meet our hosts, Hutt and Greg. They were super friendly and helpful, as well as being a wealth of knowledge about the island. The space was very nice for two people, and we really enjoyed having breakfast and hanging out to watch the sunset on the lanai. Great experience all around!

Hutt, and his partner Greg, have a little piece of heaven nestled in the hill above Wailea. Their beautiful studio apartment was designed by Greg, who is a world-class architect. It was tastefully designed with gorgeous touches throughout. The very green backyard was incorporated into the design giving us that indoor/outdoor feeling. Hutt quickly made us feel at home and in no time he felt like an older brother. He helped us plan our various adventures, which were loads of fun. I can’t remember when I have felt so relaxed. Every evening we were able to watch an incredible sunset, which was super romantic. All in all, this is an ideal place for anyone considering a stay in south shore Maui.

Where do I even begin! Hutt and Greg were the kindest, most hospitable hosts my husband and I have ever encountered. Their property is absolutely out of this world. Very private, peaceful, and the views...every sunrise and sunset was breathtaking. Gorgeous views of the ocean, the islands, and we were blessed to be in Maui during a super moon which was absolutely icing on the cake. Everything you need is provided and more. Beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, beach towels, top of the line appliances to cook quick and easy meals, binoculars to view the stars at night which are spectacular by the way. We simply can't say enough! After the devastating fires in Lahaina, my husband and I hesitated to visit, but after careful consideration and conversations, we decided to go and are so happy we did. It is imperative we support the people of Maui, and they welcomed us with open arms. There is true meaning to living the ALOHA life. And we were shown this over and over again during our stay.

I have been to eight different countries and several different states, and I can unhesitatingly say that Hutt and Greg were the best hosts I have ever stayed with. Upon arrival Hutt greeted us with a welcoming smile and the warmest Aloha! He gave a thorough run down of the property and showed us everything we needed to know before providing us with complete and total privacy. Both Hutt and Greg remained very diligent in providing us with whatever we needed throughout our stay. They made it clear that no task was too small. One evening I needed baking soda and Greg had it by our door in thirty seconds! Our favorite aspects of the property were the private hot tubs, outstanding scenic views, beautiful wildlife, clean and modern designs, and the extraordinary art throughout the property. Hutt and Greg are a phenomenal couple and we highly recommend staying with them!

I'm doing this review mostly with feedback given to by the couple I booked it for. I set up a friend at Hutt's place. From the very beginning, while making the arrangements, I found Hutt to be warm and engaging. I booked well in advance, and Hutt continued communication all the way through. From the beginning til the end, it was effortless. Since I didn't personally stay at Hutt's place, I'm relaying what I was told this morning by friend. He said they had the best, most relaxing stay ever at Hutt's home. Since the owner lives on site, I had a concern with my friends' privacy. However, my friend said there were no issues. did meet the owner, and the owner was very kind and helpful. All in All its 5 stars all around. I'm personally going to stay here at Hutt's place sometime next year. Thanks again for taken such good care of my friends. See you soon Aloha Mark H
