CityLife is a residential and commercial district located in the northwest of Milan, close to the city center. It is an urban redevelopment project resulting from the transformation of the former city fairgrounds, which moved to Rho-Pero for Expo 2015.
The heart of the district consists of three skyscrapers, nicknamed "The Three Towers": the Allianz Tower, the Generali Tower and the Isozaki Tower. The Allianz Tower is the tallest, at 242 meters high, and houses the offices of the Allianz insurance company. The Generali Tower is the second tallest, at 231 meters high, and houses the offices of the Generali insurance company. The Isozaki Tower is the lowest, at 161 meters high, and houses a number of luxury apartments.
In addition to the skyscrapers, CityLife also houses a vast shopping mall, with stores, restaurants, and a cinema; a public park, with more than 1,000 trees; and an exhibition building, Palazzo delle Scintille.
The district was designed to be one of the largest pedestrian zones in Europe, completely free of traffic. This has helped create a more livable and sustainable urban environment.

Just a 5-minute walk away is the Gerusalemme stop on the M5 subway, which makes it possible to reach the Duomo in just 20 minutes.
Also within a short distance are the Milano Porta Garibaldi and Milano Lancetti train stations, which connect other major stations such as Milano Repubblica and Porta Venezia.
To get around the city center easily, a variety of local public transportation is available, including streetcars and buses. For example, streetcar 14 and 12 connect with the historic city center.
