Where to start, Ruth and norm where the most kind hearted people. They made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Upon arrival we where told our room was being upgraded which was amazing. Ruth and norm treated us like their own through out the stay. Their farm breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD it was AMAZING. The room felt cozy and like home it was perfect:)
Extremelly gracious hosts,Ruth and Norm make you feel at home. The breakfast is out of this world. We liked our upgraded room. Very clean with absolutelly everything (and more) that we needed. Thank you again for a great hosting experience.
Ruth and Norman were wonderful hosts! So kind and generous and a joy to be with! We felt like friends, rather than travelers passing through. The farmhouse, situated on a hill is beautiful and peaceful. Our breakfasts were delicious, with fresh and healthy choices. We were very well taken care of! And lastly, Norman’s art studio was so fun to explore! I hope some day to return!
Just left this morning and I have to say this is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts I have ever stayed at. Ruth and Norman were just wonderful. The homemade breakfasts were incredible and so fresh. Ruths homemade yogart was simply amazing. The home was spotless. There is a wonderful room to leave your cooler etc and a fridge, dishes etc. The bed was so comfortable and I slept so well. They we so generous with everything. I would highly recommend staying here!
Ruth and Norm are such friendly hosts and people! The house was always clean and organized, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling. A great value for what you pay to stay here. The location is great, only 20 minutes to Riverside and 15 minutes to Hopewell Rocks and tourist like attractions. The area is quiet, however, and provides a peaceful farm -stay experience (the alpacas and chickens were so cute!). Staying with Ruth and Norm and hearing their stories will be memories we cherish. We are so grateful we stumbled across this listing and got to know the legends: Ruth and Norm!

Norm and I live in a 150 year old farm house high on a hill. We love animals and people. Norm enjoys painting, hiking, cooking and fishing. Ruth plays bridge, sings in the choir, volunteers and is on the board of several organizations. She is an avid organic gardener. They love to travel and enjoy foods. Norm makes his own wine and loves old movies. Ruth loves cooking and is an award winning pickle and jam maker. We love staying at B&Bs and learning about the areas we are visiting. Healthy lifestyle is important to both. We like to take the time to enjoy life.
