The Brick Loft is where history meets charm. Constructed in 1890 it served as a bank from 1893 and later became the infamous Eleanors Corner Saloon. Located centrally between the LC Valley and Pullman/Moscow along the scenic Palouse Highway it's a great location for Cougars or Vandals events, photographing the surrounding Palouse, or enjoying recreation on the Snake and Clearwater rivers. You'll have a comfortable and unique stay with all the amenities you need at the Brick Loft. The lodging space is on the 2nd floor with stair access only. Things were made better back at the turn of last century. The Brick Loft is constructed with local Uniontown brick. It stays cool in the summertime and holds heat efficiently during the cold winter months. The main space is open concept with a large living, dining, and kitchen area. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom off of the hallway, followed by the laundry space, and a secluded and private master bedroom with an en suite bathroom at the back of the unit. T
Nicole was a great host! We stayed here for WSU graduation. There were 6 of us and we could have comfortably fit several more. The place was beautifully done - the bathrooms were nice and the bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated. We loved the kitchen living room area - spacious and great for hanging out together. It was about 20 minutes from Pullman so a little further but since it was graduation we were lucky to find this place! Would stay here again :)
The Brick Loft far exceeded everything we needed/wanted for our annual girls weekend gathering. It's wonderfully decorated and welcoming, and we immediately felt right at home. It was extremely clean, the kitchen was very well stocked, and the beds were very comfy. Pullman, Moscow and the LC Valley are all near, so there's plenty of things to do and see. Or if you are looking for a great place to just kick back and enjoy, The Brick Loft is definitely what you're looking for. We got take and bake pizza from The Uniontown General Store for dinner. Yum! I highly also recommend the BLT Grinder. ;) Nicole was great with communication when I had a few questions prior to our stay. She was delightful, helpful and very accommodating in making our stay a 5 star experience from start to finish. We already made reservations at The Brick Loft for our annual gathering for next year and are excited to use the new deck. Thanks for everything, Nicole!
We had a wonderful stay at Nicole's loft. The decor, furnishings, and even architecture was just perfect, all high end. We didn't have any problems with anything. There was plenty of accessories in the kitchen, including a Keurig with lots of pods. We felt so comfortable there. We were just wandering the Palouse area and it was in a perfect location. Particularly, I felt safe being on a second floor, and even the steps weren't too bad. Thank you, Nicole, for offering such a great place for our old lady getaway!
Nicole’s space is a renovated apartment over an old bank. I really feel she designed the inside to reflect the industrial aesthetic with some lovely minimalist details. There were four of us and a dog. My dog was afraid of the entry stairs because they are long and steep and slippery (for a dog.) The four of us were able bodied so we managed the staircase just fine. You step down into the master bedroom and up into the master bath. The beds are memory foam. The location is great because it’s a pretty drive halfway between Moscow / Pullman and Lewiston. You definitely have to drive to one of those places for amenities. Would definitely stay here again!
Our small downtown area has a General Store and Cafe open Tues-Saturday with basic amenities, great homemade pizza, stromboli, and sandwiches. There is a Wawawai Canyon Winery with limited hours Thur-Sun. The Dahmen Barn is a beautiful artisan barn with local art, art classes, and live music events.
