Great place to stay for an extended long weekend away from the city - and only just over an hour outside! Place was spacious and quiet, everything was as listed. Only thing was there is no outdoor firepit, the firepit is the fireplace. Was slightly disappointed but not a huge deal. Friends and dog really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

PROS: The property itself is stunning with beautiful surroundings, and so big that you can actually bush walk in the backyard! Everything is overgrown though so long pants & closed shoes are a must. The view from pool & spa onto the bush are stunning! The indoor fireplace is great, and the TV with streaming services including Netflix and a massive box with childrens toys was a great bonus. CONS: The property was clean enough but definitely not hotel standard clean, cupboards, inside of bin & top of fridge were outright dirty & the studio where 2 of our family stayed was not cleaned at all. The host was rather rude. I booked the place 4 months ago in January & specifically asked for an infant portacot. I sent 3 reminders, still no portacot upon arrival. When I called she said no portacot was booked, and then came out to bring one & said “this is so annoying”. Never apologised. I privately sent feedback post booking about a few other things & only got defensive replies unfortunately…

We had a few minor issues with no dishwashing tablets, and no instructions for the oven, as soon as I messaged Fiona she responded immediately and delivered straight away… The heated spa was amazing, we were in the area for a weekend workshop, and it was bliss to get into the spa surrounded by trees when we got back to the house…

Perfect house for a quiet getaway to unwind, even better if the weather is warm to enjoy the pool and spa. Fiona was a great host and very helpful when contacted, she replied promptly and gave very clear instructions. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance to.
