James cottage is placed in a well kept garden in a quiet street about 5km from the centre of Arrowtown. The two bedroom 2 bathroom cottage is very comfortable. James introduced himself with an apology that his HDTV was not functional (a disappointment). He kindly showed us importantly how the gas fire heater worked as evenings got very chilly. We enjoyed our 3 days there self catering on 2 evenings in a cosy and largely functional residence. Restaurants aplenty around the area but need to book… Thanks James we enjoyed the stay and our brief encounter…

James was a most attentive host, quick to deal with any queries, and helped us settle into the comfortable cottage. He gave us space and privacy, but was on hand when we needed any assistance. The cottage is on spacious grounds with some beautiful speciman trees giving shade, and James told us about a local swimming hole nearby in the Arrow river - perfect for hot summer days. The cottage is right on the biking trails and within easy distance to wineries and Arrowtown, but pleasantly rural. We enjoyed the quiet and restfulness.

James' place was lovely and comfortable - the two rooms each have an en suite bathroom which was very luxurious :) Such a cute cottage, and very close to Arrowtown and Queenstown. James was very friendly and helpful.

We were the first to stay in James' rental. Overall, it was a beautiful, restful experience. So close to many amenities, yet felt like we were out in the country. We could walk or ride to the cycle track and Arrowtown was about 5 minutes away via driving. There were a few kinks due to it being newly rented. James was very responsive and it sounds as though all will be quickly resolved. So glad we found the place! It was perfect for a family Christmas week. Thank you James!!
