Located in a quaint neighborhood near both major hospitals in Cedar Rapids, as well as downtown, and Czech Village, this cozy cottage has an eclectic mix of vintage treasures and modern amenities. This cozy cottage has been a labor of love! Renovations took nearly a year (finding time after work, and on the weekends during our daughter’s nap time) and we are so excited to share it with guests! We selected furniture that was comfortable while also fitting the cottage aesthetic in the hopes that guests can put up their feet, and feel right at home. Because of the large windows and maximum natural light, Upland Cottage feels spacious for a dwelling with just over 1,000 sq. ft. It is located in a beautiful, eclectic, and very quiet neighborhood. A favorite pastime is heading in any direction for a walk and enjoying the historical homes along the route. There is a neighborhood park just two blocks away.

We were very happy to be able to use the cottage for holiday company overflow. It was a peaceful respite; warm and cozy, stylish and functional. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!!
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Cozy Upland Cottage. The home was squicky clean and comfortable. It also had every amenity that we personally needed. This place is just darling! I loved all of the unique touches and decor. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hosts did not skimp when it came to the pillows and bedding - very nice! Hosts are extremely kind and quick to respond to messages. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area!
