Possibly my favorite airbnb ever - gorgeous location and a perfect set up for a couple. Cozy but plenty of space, gorgeous design, and very comfortable. Loved sitting in the hot tub and gazing out at the ocean. Tasmania is a very, very long way from home for us but we’d definitely return on our next visit.
We had a great stay in this little private nook of a property with awesome ocean view. The place is clean and cozy. It felt like a private retreat. We would recommend this place and come back again sometime in the future to try out the bigger house next door, hopefully with a few new family members :)
oh my goodness we had such a wonderful stay in seymour. first light cabin is set in an absolutely beautiful location with luxurious little details and gorgeous interior design. skye was fantastic with their communication. would absolutely recommend to anyone staying on the east coast of tassie. after walking the overland track we needed somewhere to relax and recharge, and first light cabin was utter perfection.
Totally amazing! Styling is gorgeous and nothing can compare to a champagne on the deck looking out to the ocean. It’s a very special place

Guests have access to Templestowe Beach via a short 200 metre walk through the national park. Or a 2 min drive to the south side will take you to magnificent Denison beach which goes all the way to Bicheno. (11 km for the energetic). This is where our local penguins come in on sunset each evening.
Easy rock walks are available from the edge of the property for you to enjoy the rock pools and lichen covered rocks or just relax on.
North beach is dogs on lead and south beach is dogs off lead.
If you can drag yourself away from FIRST LIGHT, one of Tasmania’s most plentiful regions is on your doorstep. Take your pick of picturesque vineyards serving world-class cool climate wines; excellent bush walks and delicious local fresh seafood.
Our closest township Bicheno is a special little seaside town worth wandering, with its blowhole, lookout, cafes and fascinating history, not to mention those entertaining resident penguins.
