Designed for those with relaxing in mind. This peaceful jungle casita has the perfect backdrop for those wanting to enjoy the noises of the jungle with the soothing sounds of the sea. It is situated within an easy walk to some of the best surf in Panama, It is 5 minutes away from the shore, away from the noise and cars .There is a feeling of calm, quiet, peace. This casita is primarily for couples looking for a chance to REALLY wind down from a busy life and enjoy Panama with no worries. The casita has an open plan living room, bedroom and kitchen design. It's comfortable with plenty of space to relax. A real advantage is being able to see the sunrise from the bed .This casita has hot, treated water, and the bathroom features a simple, but spacious shower and W/C area. Outside, the property is fenced . It provides a feeling of security in a very quiet area of Bocas but the real purpose of the fence was to keep the dogs inside. The garden is filled with different flowers that attract different birds, butterfly’s and a beautiful large green iguana. For those times when you feel the need for some downtime you can relax on the patio Bocas style in the hammock and enjoy the breeze. I live on the property with my two dogs. Ella is a doberman who has lived with guests coming and going since she was a puppy. Flo is a border collie who adores guests and will be around to greet you We hace a second casita on the property that we call Jungle View if you are traveling with another couple

We really enjoyed our stay at Heather's place. It felt like visiting an old friend. And Flo and Ella were just the best to spend our days playing with :) Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of town.
Unser Aufenthalt in Heathers Jungle Casita war perfekt! Heather hat uns am Flughafen abgeholt, uns die Haupstrasse von Boccas gezeigt und ist noch mit uns zu einem Supermarkt gefahren. Wenn ihr eine Tour machen wollt oder eine Empfehlung braucht fragt unbedingt nach. Sie hat die besten Tipps und antwortet immer superschnell. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt.
This place is a must stay in Boca del toro, you have skullys and other restaurants/bars near by, I would recommend this for all travellers but if you are a couple then this place would be great for an romantic and relaxed stay. Heather is the best host I have had as well, she is incredibly kind,has knowledge of the area and is lovely to speak to as well. 10/10
Jungle Casitas is ideal for those looking to get away from the bustle of Bocas town but still have easy access to all amenities on the island, great restaurants, and beautiful surroundings. Heather is very helpful and responsive and a kind, friendly host. We loved staying here and would happily do so again.
One of our favourite airbnbs ever! A cute, clean and super comfy space with a beautiful view of the ocean. Close to town, a few really great cafes (Dosha is the best!) a place to rent scooters/bikes is 2 mins away… Heather is a lovely lady and incredible host, she picked us up from the port and gave us some great recommendations.. the dogs Flo and Ella were a highlight for us too. 5* all around!

There is a beachfront restaurant and bar area about a 5 minute walk away. It has four different restaurants . They also rent out motorbikes and ATV's. There's a small convenience store there too. They have has some form of entertainment every night
We have an excellent pizza place across the road from this beach bar and, and another beach bar 8 minutes away. The views are spectacular. The whole coast is beach and ocean, with two popular surf locations . One only a 10 minute walk away We have a one lane road that two cars can squeeze past and the beaches that feel like they may as well be private despite being public. It's the perfect place to enjoy beaches, feeling like they're all to yourself. When the surf is not up there is a snorkel spot that is also 5 minutes away
. Our neighbors are quiet, and we get some lovely monkeys as guests. Another neighbor of ours is a local anteater. Ask me for more of our wildlife friends!
Renting ATV's is quite common. There is a van that takes people to Bluff beach for $2.50 each way. This leaves from the park in town, but I also believe you can hop on at the local beach bar. .It will cost you only 3/person to get into town by taxi There are a few car rentals but these can be quite expensive. There is a small bus that leaves from the town park to take people to Starfish beach. It is also very inexpensive

We started off with an old sailboat. This led to our backpacking trips through Central America to check out hurricane holes. One of the places we visited was Bocas del toro. So the way it goes we sold one boat, bought another old boat and spent 8 years totally rebuilding it.When we retired we sailed the boat down through all of the Caribbean Islands, Columbia, and on to Bocas. We have been here 12 years.
