Amy’s cottage provided everything that my family and I were looking for while staying in Charleston, being that my wife and I are both originally from Myrtle Beach and grew up visiting Charleston as kids we were excited to finally give our kids the experience we grew up with and Amy’s cottage gave us all that experience. We spent many nights just sitting by the fire enjoying the sights and sounds, Amy went above and beyond in providing everything that one could need to have a comfortable stay, if we needed anything she was quick to respond. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Amy was friendly. She described the property perfectly. A nice property close to beaches and main cities, yet, secluded enough to escape the crowds. The home is perfect and clean very comfortable. A nice Mexican restaurant close by. The trees on the property were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was a slice of heaven! The live oak trees and lake made for magical scenery. The location feels secluded, yet so close to great restaurants and other attractions. Amy was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely would stay here again!

Nestled in the most peaceful nook on John’s island, this place was too perfect. Peaceful and beautiful inside the home and out. Makes you not want to go downtown at all and just stay by the private lake. Amy was lovely as well! Would go back anytime

My wife, dog, and I recently rented this home for a night. The host Amy is friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The home is very clean, the oak trees on the property are truly magical and this land is very special! With that said - there were 2 gentlemen about 50 yards away from the home working on a tractor when we arrived. We saw the listing mentioned one of the owners will ‘come by’ to grab tools occasionally, but this was a full on project they were undertaking. They finally left after a couple of hours only to come back several hours later to mow around the home. We had no choice but to go inside with our dog and wait for him to finish. The mower kept breaking down and our enjoyment of the property was cut short. We try to be understanding of necessary maintenance, but the property was going to be vacant for 5 days after our stay. Overall this is a nice listing, but not nearly as private as we had hoped for our very short stay.
