Just over 0.5 miles from the Peak District National Park, this impressive, Victorian house sleeps eight guests and, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, offers exceptional comfort. Venture out on long walks and cycle rides; visit nearby attractions and enjoy your proximity to Matlock, 3 miles away, and Bakewell, 6 miles away. Open the front door of this period home to find airy accommodation and exquisite features. Stroll into the lounge, where members of your party can read, play games or relax in front of the Smart TV, while the wood burner glows in the background. Find the farmhouse kitchen, with its range-style cooker and breakfast table, is a great place for two or three people to take turns preparing meals together. Lay the table in the elegant dining room for holiday feasts and special, celebratory meals. A family bathroom and utility room are also at ground-floor level. All four bedrooms are situated on the first floor. These include a super-king-size room, with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged in advance as twins; a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, all with en-suite shower rooms. There is also a lovely double bedroom. Sit out in the garden to the front of the house on spring and summer days. Find parking for two or three cars at the property. Wander less than 1 mile into Two Dales to shop or have a well-earned pint in the pub. Make your way into Matlock or Bakewell for a much broader range of independent shops and eateries. Embark on a 3-mile walk to the Nine Ladies Bronze Age stone circle inside the national park. Drive less than 5.5 miles to visit splendid Chatsworth House.
