Relax and enjoy your stay in this ground level, newly renovated one bedroom suite located in a 100+ year old home in Historic Townsite. This suite is located on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to Powell Lake, to a lovely ocean beach, our local brewery and a boutique mall with cafe, bakery, grocery store and other cool shops. The space has wonderful amenities including a spa-worthy bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and two patio spaces. When you arrive, please park out front. Access the property through the front gate and follow the boardwalk to the right side of the house. Access is the ground level door, one step down, via keypad access. Code provided once booking is confirmed.

Wonderful place to stay for a few days. The bed is super comfy and the unit is very clean and well appointed. Only issue was gaining access through the lock code. Thanks Linda - I will be back!
Linda's place was very cute and extremely clean. It had everything that I needed to be comfortable for my short visit, and then some. It was a hot weekend so it was a relief to stay in the nice cool basement suite.
Great place. Appreciated 5he yoga mat, and the emergency toiletries (I needed s toothbrush and tooth paste). The coffee beans were delicious. I dint do any cooking, but the kitchen had every utensil and cookware needed for cooking a full meal. Did I mention that 5us place was terrific?
Lovely suite in a home in historical area of town, beautiful spa like bath and well equipped kitchen, fresh ground coffee and cream in the fridge was much appreciated!

Located in Historic Townsite, there is great access to the Sunshine Coast Trail and other local trails, Powell Lake, ocean beaches, the fabulous Townsite Brewery and our Boutique Townsite Mall. Minutes to Westview and Willingdon Beach and easy access to Lund on Hwy 101. Very quiet and safe neighborhood.
Explore Townsite on foot or bicycle. Great neighbourhood for an evening stroll to check out all the heritage homes. Easy walking distance to the local brewery, cafe, bakery, grocery store and restaurant. Access to great hiking/mountain biking trails, swimming (salt water or fresh water), canoeing and/or kayaking.

While visiting friends in Cumberland in 2008, I fell in love with the town and the people. I decided that I wanted to experience life in this beautiful small island town so I packed up my gear, and moved out to Vancouver Island. I moved to Powell River on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 2015 My lovely heritage home in Historic Townsite is haven for me, my family and for visitors.
