Although Juan was very responsive and the Airbnb was aesthetically pleasing, the amenities and function of the home weren’t as upto par as I expected. There were ants in the bedroom and bathroom of the upstairs room, as well as the balcony and windows. There is no shower door in the upstairs bathroom so water gets everywhere when you shower. The living room bathroom door knob doesn’t open from the outside so you can’t close the door or else you can’t use it. The washer didn’t work so I had to find a dry cleaning service nearby. Luckily Juan was able to address these issues with maintenance later on and he was always very responsive but for the money we spent, we expect the Airbnb to have the amenities on point and a CLEAN home without all of the bugs. Besides those concerns, the Airbnb itself is a beautiful place with perfect location in Miraflores. A very safe neighborhood where you can walk along the coast and close vicinity to the mall and other areas.

The place was beautiful, clean, spacious and in a great location! Juan was very friendly and responsive. The reasons I gave a four instead of five star review are the following: the hot tub was not filled and ready to use. We spent hours filling it up, figuring out how it operates including chemically treating it and never quite got it to a good temperature or point of use. Juan was very responsive and had maintenance visit the next day but they did not come prepared with cleanings products as requested. There were only enough towels for one per person which did not help with trying to use the hot tub and although there were extra pillows, there were not extra pillow cases. We were granted a late checkout as requested which we really appreciated and helped with our travels. I would stay here again. The place is beautiful and a great location.

The building is in a nice neighborhood, the building staff and security are really nice people, i booked the place for a week but ended up leaving the apartment in a day, here are couple of the issues I faced: 1. The toilet on the entrance was leaking brown water under 2. Washer leaking water in the kitchen 3. Hot tub was not clean 4. The plastic roof on the third floor was making bang noises at night, we had to move to a lower floor at 2 AM 5. Toilet flushes would get stuck and had to keep pushing them so they stop pouring water 6. Tables and windows were not so clean The host, Juan was responsive and nice but the place really need some good maintenance, I hope the host fixes these issues for future guests.
