Nautical style suite as close to the mountains as can be while in the city! Separate entrance, entire two-level basement suite w/ parking, laundry, refreshments, kitchen. Sleeps 4! Park pass included (Banff trip!) Nearby: Groceries, movie theatre, Crowfoot Village, tennis, library, Nose Hill Drive here (min): 10 - U of C, McMahon Stadium 15 - Foothills and Children's Hospital 25 - Downtown, Stampede 45 - Canmore, Kananaskis 1 Hr Banff 1 Hr 45 Lake Louise Walk: Train station - 20 min Guests enter through a private door on the side of the house that can be accessed using the walkway from either the Cul-de-Sac in front of the house or the parking in the back. The door opens into an entryway on the main floor, equipped for coat and boot storage. At the bottom of the first set of stairs, the rec room contains the lounge area with a sectional couch that pulls out into a queen bed by the entertainment unit. In the corner behind the couch, a full-sized desk with desk chair makes for a perfect workspace. A 4-piece bathroom rounds out the first floor. The second set of stairs leads down to a laundry room, which is available to guests, and the full, stocked kitchen. The bedroom contains a queen bed and closet for storage, while the den contains the fridge and dining room with space for four. The backyard is currently under construction, but will soon host a lovely seating area, BBQ, and fire table, so stay tuned for great things this summer!

Less than an hour from the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, this area is as close to the mountains as you can get while staying in the city.
Getting around is easy from Ranchlands. Free parking is abundant in the neighborhood, and with quick access to major roadways like Crowchild Trail and Stoney Trail, you can reach downtown Calgary in just 20 minutes. The neighborhood is also well-serviced by public transit, making it easy to explore all that Calgary has to offer without the need for a car. A bus route is only a 2 minute walk, and the nearest train station is 20! Within a couple stops you can be at the University of Calgary, Foothills Hospital, McMahon Stadium, and the bustling heart of downtown! Just past downtown you have reached the Stampede grounds and Bimo Centre.
