Stay with Aldís. My apartment is located close to the city with good access to the bus going downtown. This is my personal home where you will have your own private bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, your own TV (Netflix & other streamlines) and free Wifi. We will share the kitchen, the bathroom with good size shower and washer & dryer. If there is Northern lights activity it is clearly visible from my balcony. Basketball and other activities are few steps from the apartment. Cosy private bedroom with a king size bed. Enjoy watching TV on the monitor facing the bed where you have acess to Netflix and other local streamline.

Aldis was so sweet, truly a great host who made us feel right at home! The apartment was very nice and clean. It was also in an optimal location with grocery and gas in a close proximity.
Aldís was such a nice host. Her place was beautiful and she was very kind to let us use her kitchen and cooking oils/spices. We only saw her the last day of our stay but she was super friendly as well and gave us tips/info about Iceland traveling.
Nice apartment, good beds and shower, quiet room, no trafic noise, free WiFi, big TV in the bedroom, very friendly host.
We had a great short stay at Aldis’! She welcomed us very lovely, was super helpful & up for good talks! Totally recommend this place

We live in a family friendly and quiet area of Reykjavik. There are playgrounds on both sides of the building but you are not bothered at all from any noice from there.
Few steps away from our apartment are basketball courts, soccer field, and various outdoors activity equipment. All this is available to the public after school ours which is at 3 pm.
A public swimming pool is just 10-15 minute walk away and another one located about 15-20 min walk away.
The bus station taking you to downtown Reykjavik is at the end of our street.
A grocery store is in a walking distance.

Taxi is just a phone call away and they usually arrive in only few minutes.
All over our neighborhood you can find electrical scooters for rent that can take you where ever you want to go.
