Great place for a weekend getaway not too far from the twin cities. It had lots of thoughtful touches (well-stocked games, toiletries and other often forgotten items). Warm and cozy with enough space to comfortably house a large group!
The stay was amazing. The hosts were super amazing. They checked in with us, and any time we messaged them, they responded within no more than 10 minutes. The house was very nice, super comfy beds, and my family loved the Foosball table and the Pool table. Would highly recommend!
We were looking for a quick escape from the city that was quiet and near nature. We found it here! The space was clean and inviting and had everything you could need to get away. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much anything you might need to cook meals. There was plenty of space to relax and it was beautifully decorated. Hosts were extremely communicative and easy to reach. We loved being tucked away in the woods, yet close to grocery stores and Banning State Park (dog friendly!). Thanks for a great stay.
Our family of four, along with our two dogs, sought a quick weekend getaway and found this location to be ideal. Just an hour’s drive from the city, it offered seclusion, perfect for much-needed relaxation. The accommodations were spacious, catering to both group gatherings and moments of alone time. We appreciated the versatile dining table, which doubled as a pool and ping pong table. With additional board games and amenities provided, there was never a dull moment. The fact that dogs were not only allowed but also warmly welcomed was a huge plus. The place was well-equipped with supplies for our furry companions. Without a doubt, we’ll be adding this spot to our list of must-return destinations.”

The Willard Munger State Trail is very close by (4 miles). It is a multi-use trail for all seasons that runs from Hinckley to Duluth. It consists of interconnecting trails offering hiking, bicycling, in-line skating, snowmobiling and horseback riding. It highlights the picturesque scenery and rich history of East Central Minnesota. Some of the trail follows the route of the railroad that saved many lives in the historic Hinckley and Cloquet fires in the nineteenth century.
