Because of its historical value, it falls under the German designation "Denkmalschutz", which means it is a listed building and is protected to preserve its historical and cultural value. It was originally a water mill and has been renovated into modern and luxurious flats. It is a great way for guests to enjoy modern amenities in a historic building.
