Eastport is a fun place to spend your time. The community is unique, eclectic, artsy, boaty, historical, diverse, free-living & dog-loving!
Well, all of Annapolis loves dogs which is evident by all the "doggie cafes" outside shop doors & on residential sidewalks. Annapolis has events nearly all the time - from parades & fireworks to art walks, museums, home & garden tours, ghost tours, Dinner Under the Stars, First Sunday & even a chocolate fringe festival. In October, we host the International Boat Shows. In December the lighted boat parade entertains us all! Walk down to watch & then hustle to a waterfront restaurant/pub or return to the bungalow for a sit around the fire pit!
Annapolis is ablaze with holiday lights through December. Thursday nights in December stores are open for Midnight Madness. Shop, eat, enjoy music! Sit outdoors & enjoy a beverage, meal & music.
We are a philanthropic city & the numerous charity events benefit the entire community, keeping with our "One Annapolis" motto.

Within 2 blocks are many eateries, a tapas wine restaurant, bakery, gourmet deli, post office & drug store. In summer, the fresh-air local, farm to table food market is just up the street.
An easy walk over the Spa Creek drawbridge to the rest of downtown's historic harbor, aka City Dock- is one spectacular view! Catch the sunrise, sunset & boat activity here or at any one of Eastport's street- end parks...some where you & your dog can splash around. These are popular spots for photos!
There is a seasonal water taxi from the harbor to the Eastport side, which drops off at restaurants & about 6 blocks from the bungalow. Traditional taxis & Uber/Lyft run here as well.
There is a free year-round Circulator Trolley that runs from City Dock to Westgate Circle-basically up/down Main Street & out to West Street's art & restaurant district.
There are several city garages downtown if you prefer to drive & park. Also, there is on-street pay-per-hour parking.
