Our family would love to share our happy place at the most southern tip of Africa with you. The unique stone fisherman's cottage - with modern finishings - is the ideal getaway for families, friends or honeymooners. Apart from a private hot tub your stay will offer a cozy indoor fireplace and lovely seaviews from the deck and upstairs lounge. There is an enclosed yard. The three bedroom cottage is located walking distance from the beach, restaurants, shops and the L'Aghulhas lighthouse. What a gem. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and well-appointed with everything you need. Great location and super quiet. Loved the wildlife at your doorstep, even got surprise visits from the Barn Owls and Duikers.
We had a very pleasant stay at Verregaande Cottage and enjoyed the cozy fireplace. Wish we could have stayed longer. Heleen is a very kind and helpful host and gave us a lot of good advice about what to do in the area.
Heleen was an incredible hostess. Friendly, flexible and a great communicator. The home itself was everything as discribed. It has an amazing fire place and the layout is perfectly cozy for a great weekend with loved ones.

We stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed our stay in Agulhas. The house is an interesting mix of charming, cosy, old and somewhat basic. On the positives: - host communicated very well, check in was easy - house is very well equipped - wifi good (and worked during loadshedding...bonus) - decently located - great fireplace/braai area Slight distractions: - house footprint is quite small - second floor wooden flooring is noisy - needs a couch upgrade in front of the fireplace! With a few upgrades and tweaks this could be an amazing place! Overall good, we were happy with our stay.

We've pictured and renovated the space to be a place where you collect memories and spend quality time with your loved ones.
The two story house is ideal for a quick stopover on a roadtrip but you will most definitely regret that you had not booked another night to enjoy the tranquility of L'Aghulus - the most southern tip of Africa.
L'Aghulas is a safe seaside village so if you are energetic you can take the 650m walk to the rocky beach or shops. Otherwise you can drive around by car.
We also encourage you to also take a daytrip to explore the wine farms and other Strandveld towns like Elim in the area.
