Come relax in our charming, 2 story, craftsman style home, right in the heart of downtown Hokah. What use to be a parsonage for priests, has now been renovated and fully furnished to provide you with everything you need for your getaway. Guests are sure to find plenty to do with nearby amenities, bike trails, bluffs, and rivers, so come enjoy the bluff country or relax on the deck and watch the sights of main street. Heavenly Haven has one bedroom, with an adjoining bathroom, on the main floor, and three more bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Our deck allows you to sit and relax while watching the hustle and bustle of main street in front of the house, and the parking lot on the side of the house allows for convenient, off street parking. The house is fully furnished and includes a well stocked kitchen. A laundry room, two smart TVs, wifi, and a gas grill on the deck will help make for an enjoyable stay. While the house does not have central air, there are several window air conditioners and ceiling fans to help our guests stay comfortable on hot days. Guests can find plenty to do in the area by visiting Como Falls in Hokah, which is just a short walk from Heavenly Haven, hiking at Beaver Creek State Park in Caledonia, jumping on the bike trail in Houston, or by taking the short 12 minute drive to LaCrosse. There is a backyard to enjoy, but it is a shared space with the church. The church's school also has a playground on the other side of the church. Children can use this playground, when school is not in session, as long as they are supervised by an adult. Because our home is conveniently located on Main Street, it is important to note that there is steady traffic on the street. Additionally, the parking lot next to our house is used by the church's school and daycare, so it can be busy throughout the day, particularly during the school year.

Very well appointed and thoughtful decor - we loved out stay and would highly recommend. Lots of space, easy parking and to find and convenient to La Crosse which is only 10 minutes away. We felt right at home and will stay again! Thanks, Shannon!
Very family friendly and comfortable. The location is just off of a busier road, but this style of home kept all the noise out. Our littlest guest could sleep soundly both at night and during their naps. Lots of local options for exploration, and only a fifteen minute drive from the Mississippi River! Shannon was also very attentive and kind when we had any questions or issues, which was minimal seeing as her instructions both in messages and at the house were extremely clear. Thank you so much for providing us with such a beautiful place to enjoy our stay in!
Nice historic home! We enjoyed our stay and it was fun seeing the vintage and antique decor as well as home features such as hinged casing windows, and working central radiator heat. The home was very comfortable and Shannon was a great host! Very quick to respond and very helpful. You can tell she took time to make the space homey and inviting, and had nightlights throughout to help get around at night, which we appreciated. The linens were nice quality and the towels were soft and plush. The large laundry room was well stocked with a variety of products available to use. There is traffic, but that was disclosed and expected for being on the main road, but it didn’t bother us. If we come back to the area, we would stay here again. Thanks Shannon!
absolutely fantastic place! Shannon was nothing short of one of the best hosts you will find on Air BnB. If I am ever back in Hokah this would be the spot for sure.
Our stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend. The host was proactive, knowing children would be there and had toys, games, high chair and pack n play available.

Located on Main Street in Hokah, the road in front does have a steady stream of traffic. The house has an adjoining parking lot which is part of St. Peter's Church, school, and daycare. Just down from Heavenly Haven you'll find a coffee shop and a bar and grill.
Guests will be able to park in the adjoining church parking lot. Trailers/boats can be parked in the driveway, along the side of the house.
