This tastefully renovated house is at the heart of a sustainable winery in the South of France. You will be surrounded by century old trees, an ocean of grapevines and old style winery buildings. The domaine is 5 min walking distance from the city center of Lansargues, a typical South of France village. Former harvester house renovated with style by a French architect who kept the beautiful volumes, exposed stones, beams on the ceiling, and tomettes on the floor while adding modern comfort. The house includes 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom & toilet. The first bedroom has a 160 double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds (that could be used a double bed). Next to the bedrooms is a 200 m2 living room with AC and a fireplace, dominating an ocean of grapevines. On the ground floor is a dining room, a large kitchen and an outdoor terrasse facing the vineyard.

De grootmoeder van de verhuurders was binnenhuisarchitect en ontwierp het huis en de inrichting. Je vindt hier een stijlvolle mix tussen oud en nieuw. Alle ruimtes zien eruit alsof ze direct uit een architectuurtijdschrift komen: zo’n stijlvol vakantiehuis hadden we zelden. We waren er in een regenachtige week, maar het was ook een plezier om binnen te zijn. De open haard is alleen ter decoratie, je mag hem niet gebruiken. Voor de warmte hoeft dat ook niet: het huis is heel comfortabel. Het bedrijf van de biologische wijnmakers Francois en Agathe (vader en dochter), op hetzelfde terrein als het vakantiehuis, is heel sympathiek. Zij laten in hun dagelijks werk zien dat we de aarde niet van onze voorvaderen erven, maar dat we haar lenen van onze kinderen. Een fijne plek om terug te komen! Bedankt familie Frezouls!
The harvest house in Lansargues has been very tastefully remodelled and furnished. Aline gave us a very warm welcome and also had lots of tips on the surrounding area. François introduced us to the secrets of winegrowing and was always a very nice person to talk to. The house is really highly recommended, as it offers a perfect haven of peace for excursions to Montpellier and the surrounding area. It is wonderful to stay in the middle of the nature of the vineyard.
Un superbe coin pour se reposer, entouré d’une magnifique végétation et la possibilité de faire de belles balades. La maison est bien décorée et fonctionnelle, le coin est également très sympa avec des possibilités pour faire du sport. Mention spéciale pour les dégustations de vin du domaine et les très bons produits de la boutique

Lansargues is ideally situated to the north of the lakes of the Petite Camargue, which opens onto the sea.
Magnificent walks can be made around the lakes, where you'll discover bull and horse herds, fishermen's huts, pink flamingos and other wading birds; these are protected areas where you can walk and fill your heart and mind with wild, free spaces.
You can go for a swim on the beaches of grand and petit travers, where you'll find wild spots and beach-goers, or if you prefer, you can go for a swim on the beaches of La Grande Motte or Carnon, where you'll find every water sports activity imaginable.
The hinterland is also yours to explore: the towns of course, Montpellier, Nîmes and Arles, but also the Hérault gorges around Saint Guilhem du Désert, the caves, the medieval castles like Château de Montferrand and more.
