Fayrie Ridge Cottage offers a hint of New Hampshire’s beauty. Gorgeous surroundings present spectacular mountain views. The pond at the bottom reflects a kaleidoscope of colors, and with little ambient light you can enjoy clear nighttime stargazing. The fully equipped kitchen, large bath, queen-sized and bunkbeds, and comfortable living area with many DVD movies make your stay the best. Renovations continue. Internet is now thru cable, so there is WiFi, but the cell tower hasn't gone up. Currently the cottage comprises one large room plus bathroom. This will change soon. You will have plenty of parking space. The property is made up of lawns, gardens, rock expanses and woods. Enjoy the area, but don't go into the woods. You could get hurt or lost.

Great place to stay for the outdoors. Plenty of places to go see around the area! Cozy and plenty of room - would definitely come here again!
This was one of the most beautifully-decorated, clean and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The bed, couch, and arm chairs were all super comfy and very cozy for a Christmas stay. The kitchen was full service and met our needs for the holiday. The grounds and views are exquisite. It was nice to have our beagle with us in this very pet-friendly accommodation. Our one issue was that the on-demand heater did not work efficiently making it challenging to take a shower. Susan was very attentive and responsive to this issue even though it was a holiday. It was a challenging issue to solve.
Susan's place was just what we needed. We were spending the Thanksgiving holiday with family in the area and this cottage was just what we needed. A place to lay our heads, a hot shower in the morning, and beautiful views. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Susan.
This place is great! Very clean, adorable, great little view, etc.! The one thing I will add for others staying is that there is no cell service and we were unable to get wifi (rather than it being "spotty"). This did not bother us as we had already brought puzzles and boardgames for the weekend, but I can see how other folks may want to be prepared.
I had such a lovely time at Susan and Roger’s place! Very close for my climbing trip and the views were incredible! I didn’t have cell service on my provider, which wasn’t an issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you need phone access while you’re away. Susan said there will be new updates for reception and internet soon so it likely won’t be an issue anyhow moving forward. Definitely recommend staying here :)

This is a rural property. Most of the adjoining woodlands are part of properties owned by neighbors. You won't bump into any neighbors since the parcels are large. Do be aware you may see a critter or two. Make a loud noise and they should run off.
The closest villages are Canaan to the South and Rumney to the North. Neither has many amenities. For any shopping, the closest area is in Plymouth. To get there, take a right out of the driveway onto 118. Drive 5 miles to Route 25 and take a right. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tenney Mountain Highway and drive to Plymouth. Ask your hosts for more information.
