Magnificent spacious holiday home; friendly and helpful staff; delicious food and beautiful views. My review is based on our expectations and aspirations for the stay as a family of 4 with 12 and 13 yr old kids. I'm sure some could find faults with minor ageing aspects of the property and some furnishings, but depending on your expectations these may or may not bother you. The first impression was striking, we couldn't quite believe the size of the house and outside area. Bedrooms are massive, multiple sitting and chilling areas, wonderful attractive furnishings around the property. The chef and maids were there all day from before breakfast until after dinner (whatever times you chose) and it took quite a bit of getting used to to be waited on so attentively. We felt bad for being lazy but soon settled as it was clear that Mrs Latri and team took such pride in looking after us - the tear in here eye as we left cemented in our hearts their dedication and care towards us. Hi we love and will always have fond memories of Villa Stella with family. It really is a gorgeous place. The rooms are massive and it has a great interior design. My entire family loved the backyard and the view everyday. Needs a little maintenance but we thought it was still beautiful and breathtaking. The staff is also very polite and cooked really good meals. Would highly recommend your place and will always think it’s very very special. Thank you for letting us stay.

Stunning location... the sound of the waves crashing against the beachhead fills the air and drowns out nearly all other man made sounds. The staff is lovely, Richard was super easy to communicate with and the pictures are very accurate. The pool is phenomenal and was spared no expense... it was as large and grand as it appears. I cannot possibly imagine staying in an in-land villa or a crowded neighborhood after this. If you want something different than Seminyak or Ubud you really must give the East coast a try. Would also recommend if you have any special occasion the staff can help arrange a gamelan musician or Balinese dancer right in your own home (and without the crowds) which can really be priceless. A few heads up: Snorkeling: there is direct ocean access, but very dependent on the tides and wind. One needs to observe the cycle to pick the right opportunity. Sand: the sandy area in front is quite wild (ants) and not really suitable for playing or lounging in these days though that did not diminish our stay in any way Maintenance issues here and there... mostly around the outdoor electric.

Great experience in Villa Stella, extraordinary service, top quality of room conditions, swimming pool, sea front facilities, and unbeatable views from every corner day and night.
