Great stay! had 1 minor issue, Lee handled it wonderfully, making it a non-issue. Beautiful place on the water. If you're interested in fishing Lake Talquin, the boat ramp is blocks away and an easy drive around the point to have your boat docked right out back! power for charging and room to disconnect and leave the trailer! super clean! Peaceful and beautiful view! When my wife didn't fish she was perfectly happy sitting on the dock reading a book!

What a nightmare! We drove all day only to arrive and find the place with NO ELECTRICITY! The yard was unkept, there were weeds growing up through the stairs, leaves, acorns and mess on the walkway and steps. There were wires hanging on the outside of the building and lose boards on the side of the house. Then, once we got inside - THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY! The owner was very slow to respond so we contacted AirBnB directly. Turns out the owner was out of the country! There was nothing they could do for us. It was late and dark and we had to find our own hotel on a football weekend in a college town for us, our dogs and my daughter and her family and my son and his dog! Unbelievably stressful, especially since we were there for my father's funeral! Never again. If you do decide to rent, be sure to know that this property is a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs so you may be sharing with total strangers!!
