Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Home on the south shore of Shawano Lake. Located across the road with access to your private dock. 1000 sq. ft home with all the amenities. Relax on the 260 sq.ft deck with overhang. Short driving distance to downtown Shawano and Cecil. Short walk to bar and restaurant. Or just relax indoors with WiFi, board games, books or puzzles. ONLY 30 MINUTES FROM LAMBEAU FIELD Entry from the porch opens to Kitchen/Living Room. The back of the house has two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and a wardrobe and the other with a queen bed, twin bunk beds and a walk in closet. There is one bathroom and a stackable washer and dryer are located near the back door.

We enjoyed our stay at Peggy’s even if it was a short stay! Nice and peaceful but close to lots of activities and places to eat. We will consider coming during the warmer months to take advantage of the lake and stay longer next time!
Really enjoyed staying at the house. All brand new and in mint condition. Well equipped kitchen and cooking equipment. Close to the lake. Would definitely go there again👍.
Peggy's lake house was so amazing! Leading up to our trip Peggy answered all my questions! She was very thoughtful in the design and offerings in the home. We loved the fireplace table on the porch. The beds were comfortable (firm but that's how we like it). Extra towels, blankets and everything you could think of in the kitchen. We are already planning another trip!

You are within walking distance to a local bar and grill. The Sand Bar. They have outside dining. Just take a left when you walk off the porch.
There is a fabulous Amish bakery (Yoder's) open Fridays from 1:00 to 5:00 and Saturdays 8:00 to 5:00. The best cinnamon bread you'll ever eat. Perfect for french toast. Also you must try the potato donuts. They only sell those on Saturdays and usually run out by noon. N, 4995 Oakcrest Dr, Bonduel, WI 54107. Go early - there's usually a line if you go at 9:00. Definitely worth the wait.
Cedar Wedge Farms also owned by an Amish Family has wonderful fresh produce and beef, lamb and pork some of which is grass fed. If you're planning to grill out, try the rib eye. Very tender and flavorful. W4701 Wedge Rd., Bonduel, WI 54107 - They are open Mon - Fri 8:00 to 5:00 and Saturdays 9:00 to 3:00.
Hammen Family Apple Orchard is just up the road - Lake Road - It's pretty steep so I'd take the car. W4794 County Rd E Bonduel, WI 54107. Wonderful wine tasting and other delicious home made offerings. Monday - Saturday open 10:00 to 6:00. Sunday 12:00 to 6:00.

Worked for a funeral home providing aftercare for grieving families. Worked in 3 fast food chains when in high school. Graduated with a BA in Gerontology.
