Negatives: - The TV didn’t work on arrival. We managed to resolve the issue but this was annoying as I had raised it before arrival. - Power cut during our stay. - The property wasn’t clean. Under the sofas were disgusting. - The internal doors fit poorly and can’t be shut without slamming them. - The central heating system is very loud. Turning radiators off made the issue worse and the pressure on the system could only be relieved by opening the kitchen tap. - The shower drain became blocked as it was full of hair and dirt. - The driveway is very narrow and with heavy rain turned into a bog. - Poorly equipped kitchen with 1 wine glass, no sharp knife and dirty/unusable baking trays. - Lastly, we were most frustrated by the absence of a tumble dryer as advertised; not compensated to date. Positives: - Good location. - Comfy master bed. - Excellent communication from host. - We and our little one enjoyed the downstairs open plan design. - The bathroom is a lovely space.

We’ve been to lots of Air BnB’s over the years and have never had to leave a negative review. However on this occasion we think it’s required. There were so many thing wrong with this place that we decided to write them down. Its a long list that won’t fit in the review word allowance. It’s a lot and quite upsetting that very little care has been taken to make this house comfortable. The main things that stood out were how unclean and in need of maintenance it was. Some towels were stained yellow too. The tv doesn’t work at all and they ignored the issue until after we left by way of apology! We raised all of the issues with them as soon as we left. 2 days later they replied and gave us 25% refund and a further discount off of future stays with them. Safe to say, a host to avoid in the future. The pictures on the add make this house look amazing and we were excited to get away for our first family holiday. Overall, it fell short of our expectations and we are very disappointed.
