Excellent stay! The place is immaculate and the host was very responsive and helpful. Loved the hot tub and fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of room. The hosts have added nice little touches everywhere including slippers and blankets and a welcome basket. A few helpful things to know: - it has somewhat steep stairs with no baby gates so if you have a crawler just plan ahead - the upstairs rooms are right over the master and you can hear ever little footstep so if that bothers you they provide ear plugs or we used a white noise machine - the bonus room upstairs has a PlayStation and DVD player for movies; however the only movies we saw were more adult level so if you have kids I would bring your own DVDs. The upstairs TV cannot connect to smart apps (Netflix, etc) that we could see (although if you brought a chrome cast or something similar that might work) but we just used the downstairs one for movies. Overall a lovely trip!!
My family stayed at Alex's house for a couple of days. Everyone needed time to decompress and this stay delivered. Nothing really to think about or solve, Alex had everything organized for a very peaceful, away-from-the-city, getaway. The house was very clean, and has all the amenities. There is a no-shoes-inside rule, which matches our house rules as well. It was nice to hang out by the fire pit and sleep in. The town is only a few minutes drive, easy to get some food etc.

The house is situated in a meadow of a rural area. Every house has 3-4 acre lots so you get the best of both worlds - every house is spaced far enough apart that you get privacy and room to roam, but you're not so far away from civilization that you can't get help in an emergency. Safeway is only 15 minutes away.
Plenty of parking available. As it is a rural area, you will need your car to get around.
