Visit this historic retreat nestled in the heart of Burlington, NC. Our charming 1st Floor Apartment offers an escape from corporate with unique touches and thoughtful design. Centrally located just 2 miles from I40/85. The McCauley House was built in 1920 as a single family home. From what we can tell the McCauley Family owned it for nearly 100 years and at some point in time they did a conversion to a 4-plex apartment building. We bought the building in 2022 and have worked hard to restore every room. in this apartment you will find 2 original fireplaces, 11' Ceilings and all of the modern amenities that you would expect to include a King Bed, Fully Stocked Kitchen and Tile Shower. The apartment features High Speed Internet with an access point for ethernet and Smart TV's in both the living room and the bedroom. The listing is made for 2 but we understand you may have children or a guest. Please register all additional children/guest and we are able to accommodate with an air mattress or pack and play if needed.

Absolutely Luxurious! Gayla's homes are georgous and pristine! The homes have every amenity that you can think of and more. The showers and shower pressure is fantastic.

Hello! I was raised in Burlington NC, moved away for about 12 years for High School and later with my husband who was in the Marine Corps. We moved back to the area several years ago and fell in love with the community. Together we have 2 boys and we enjoy traveling, baseball and amusement parks. When designing our AirBNB we always first answer the question of "what would we want" as guests and we hope that shows in our properties.
