阿克拉 · 住宿加早餐里的独立房间 · 1室1床2.0卫 · 可住2人 · Villa Nelomoor "Basic" Room
Villa Nelomoor, a detached villa just outside the center of Accra, has a great room "Basic" with a bathroom. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a family room with a big flatscreen and a bar. The terrace - always sunny - has beautiful garden furniture and a parasol. It is a safe place, completely walled, equipped with its own entrance gate, and monitored by cameras overall. The place is suited for a group traveling or a family with children to retreat as well as to discover Accra. The villa was built in 2014 for a large family. There are four attractive guest rooms that can be booked separately: "Basic" - "Standard" - "Deluxe" and "Superior". It is also possible to book the villa in its entirety, choose the option "Entire Villa". The decor is very warm and personal, the Dutch-Norwegian owners have combined African and European furniture and art. The size of the villa is 240m2 and it comes with a manager and a 4X4 Toyota. There is a parking space on the enclosed grounds for your own car.
The villa is in Ashongman Estates, against the hills on the north side of Accra. In the rainy season the roads, not all paved, can be difficult to pass. With the 4X4 Toyota, our caretaker has a lot of experience in safely transporting guests. The area has great contrasts, from beautiful overgrown green hills to dump sites of waste and from rich villas to slum dwellings. The inhabitants are friendly and harmonious, children can be very curious. Places of interest are the Accra slavery museum and slave forts, with Elmina being the most important. Most forts are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Also, the beautiful Labadi beach and the tropical rainforest north of Accra are points of interest.
Villa Nelomoor has its own transport to pick you up and drop you off from Kotoka airport. The caretaker is willing to be your driver in the region for a fee. Day trips can be arranged with him on site. There is hardly any public transport financed by the state or municipal government in Accra. The current options available to Ghanaians are trotros, a few bus services, ride-hailing services, and a train system which is not widespread. In Accra, 70% of daily commuting is done by informal minibuses called Trotos. Trotro vehicles are products of the 1960s in Ghana. They were first introduced for the transportation of goods for cocoas farmers. Currently, trotros are the main means of transportation in Accra and other cities in the country. They are the cheapest and most convenient means of transportation, but they aren’t the safest, and the maintenance culture of these vehicles is not up to par. The poor driving behavior of trotro drivers is also not something to be admired. Payment is normally done by cash and learning about the routes is sometimes more of experience than finding the information openly available online. Currently, the most popular ride-hailing apps in Ghana are Uber and Bolt.
自我介绍
We Henri & Mel have a great respect for nature and the organisms that live in it. This has led, among other things, to planting a lot of greenery in our Accra patio. Henri is a retired horticulture teacher and Mel works as a chef in Amsterdam. In Accra, a full-time experienced caretaker will take care of all your needs at Villa Nelomoor, where we can host up to ten guests. He speaks English, French and Twi.
