We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Cathy's flat. It was exceptionally clean and super cosy. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. Cathy was very friendly and gave us a flexible check out. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Cathy's. From Cathy's initial welcoming at the gate to the moment we walked inside the self contained apartment we felt relaxed and very comfortable. Cathy has taken the time style with a 70's flair but with all the mod cons. A total added bonus were the 70's books, magazines, colour choices, furniture and ornaments. We really enjoyed going back to our early years! The apartment was very spacious, so well appointed, light and bright with excellent window furnishings. Loungeroom with wood heater but with the added benefit of central heating to warm up quickly. Super comfy bed with top quality bed linen, electric blankets, throw rugs. Cathy stocked the kitchen with plenty of breakfast provisions including fresh fruit and juice. She was a wonderful host. The location is an easy walking distance to town, and the garden and grounds so lovely, quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend Woodlands getaway and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Cathy was the perfect host and her lovely studio was even better than anticipated. I organised the trip on behalf of my mum and her partner who were visiting us from Sydney. The location is perfect. 1 minute in to town (right by Coles, Vintage Cellars and the local pub). Cath prepared a beyond generous breakfast (and lots of fresh fruit, berries etc) which kept them both going for majority of their stay. House was gorgeously styled with authentic mid century furniture and ceramics. Comfortable bed, great bathroom all situated on a quiet property. Cath even invited us all to play pool. Will definitely stay again! Thanks Cath x

Loved Kathy’s place Very quiet, peaceful and rural although very close to town amenities and walkable if you want. The place was spotless, bed very comfortable and breakfast awesome!!! Had to have heating on though for this cold Queenslander😄

We've returned to Cathy's Woodland Getaway a number of times for good reason; it's clean, comfortable, quiet, private, has all the conveniences that one could need, and with a lovely garden outlook. It's location allows easy access to town, including the railway station, either by vehicle or on foot. We've always found Cathy to be easy to communicate with, helpful as needed, and respectful of space. She provides generous provisions to assist with the stay. We'll be back. Rose and mike
