Great for safe and cheap place to crash for the night! Super close to dtla and worked great for a first-time solo female traveler despite being a group home! definitely ok for the price and location, expect noise and activity/accessing the home from other travelers, privacy in the room but not outside of it. Older house with creaky floors and outdated amenities, noise insulation so-so and hard to control downstairs shower temp, SCALDING when hot. Can’t speak for the other bathrooms. Works perfectly as listed and for a hostel-esque experience, other guests in common spaces were really nice and a lot of good reviews were posted on the sticky notes in the kitchen that aren’t featured on airbnb, I feel like they do more justice to a well-traveled experience. Definitely nothing luxurious but gets the job done and is safe and accessible! Recommend for small one night stays etc! Great for accommodation in ktown ish and suppeeer close to everything downtown. much nicer than hours in traffic

I found Linda’s place to be very welcoming. There are multiple rooms with different people staying in the same household, but everyone was very friendly and kind. I met Serge (who I was keeping in touch with about the booking) the day I checked in and he was kind and helpful. Upon booking my room, the photos showed a bigger bed and space in general, however Serge was very quick and good at communicating that the room that I would be getting is significantly smaller because I was only staying for 1 night. I was happy to accept the switch because he sent me clear photos and description of the new room, and I gauged that I could trust him, despite the difference in the booking. I went for a walk in the neighbourhood and very much enjoyed the scenery and local Latino foods and businesses in the area. Definitely would recommend this place for short or long stays.
