We have the luxury of living in a rather calm and quiet neighborhood, besides the occasional student parties which might bring a bit of loud music.
There is a small grocery store with all essentials in less than 5 minutes walking distance, there are two kindergarten playground and one public playground within 5 minutes walking distance, where the kindergarten playgrounds may be used outside of working hours of the kindergartens (typically 6am - 5pm on weekdays).
There's a cemetery right close by which can be misused as a park for lovely walks, and a tennis club whose courts can be used as guests (for a fee) - ask us for guidance if you're interested.
Finally, the tallest mountain of Bergen, Ulriken, is also in just about 10-15 minutes walking distance, and offers a very nice hike. Don't hesitate to ask us about that or other hiking trips in Bergen.

The local tram, called bybanen, has 4 almost equally distant stations around the house, all of them I would say in ca. 10 minutes walking distance - the tram will take you to the airport (ca. 30 minutes), the train station (ca. 12 minutes) or downtown (ca. 15 minutes).
There are also bus stops around, the lines are more complicated, ask us for guidance. The apps are "Skyss planlegging" for planing your trips, and "Skyss bilett" for buying a ticket - they work for bus, tram, ferries, and (very local) train journeys.
Parking is a bit tricky, as we don't have dedicated spaces and parking is not permitted right in front of the house.
Nevertheless, there are usually spots in the street a bit further down (ca. 50 m) - it is paid though, with a hourly fee during day hours on Monday to Saturday, which can be paid through an app. Please ask us for help if you need assistance.
In general, one can also get around with walking - be advised that it's a bit hilly, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to town.
