With a cozy interior, a crackling fireplace and an inviting terrace, the Maiensäss invites you to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the beauty of nature. On the first floor there is a spacious kitchen with a gas stove and oven, as well as a small refrigerator. The modern bathroom has a shower, which is supplied with hot water by the solar boiler. Upstairs is the double loft bed, which sleeps 4 comfortably. The sofa with the breathtaking view of the mountains can be converted into additional sleeping places.

Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Winterangebot ausbaufähig im Bezug auf Wasser, Wasserqualität Hotpot und Frotte/Bettwäsche.
We had a great stay at Salome's Chalet, a very peaceful and secluded location. The property has all you need and is well-equipped. If you love nature and privacy this is a great place to stay at - we will definitely return!

Absolutely amazing place. Cannot recommend it enough. We loved it and were there for 5 nights! Really well equipped and thought out, amazing hot pot, really incredible views, so very cozy - will definitely be back!

The secluded Maiensäss in the mountains is a peaceful retreat surrounded by majestic nature. It is the perfect starting point for outdoor activities and allows guests to recharge their batteries in seclusion and experience the tranquillity of the mountains.
There is a forest right next to the Maiensäss. Various wild animals (hares, marmots, deer, stags, birds) can often be observed from the house.
The Maiensäss is situated at the foot of the Calanda mountain, which means that you can reach the peaks of the Swiss Alps on a short hike.
A steep 20-minute hike up the mountain is a cow pasture, which is operated in summer. There you can get fresh alpine milk or have a drink in the bistro.
The Maiensäss is a 20-minute drive (steep mountain road) from the village of Untervaz. The last part of the road is a gravel road and must be driven carefully. In addition, the house is not on the road, but 150 meters above it, secluded in the mountain landscape. This last stretch from the parking lot to the house is a relatively steep walk through the meadow.
